Hello and welcome! I’m so happy you stopped by! I’d love it if you’d sit back, relax, grab a cup of coffee and take a look around. Get to know me and my work, that I am so passionate about. My mission, is to have you feel a connection to my work and be intrigued to contact me! I can’t wait to hear from you!
It’s Spring now! Guess what that means!? All of my couples that were engaged over the Holidays and have since booked me to photograph their wedding are now needing their engagement pictures done!
Meet Leanne and Mark! They are getting married this September at the lovely, Shores of Turtle Creek in Spring Grove! They were my second engagement session of the year so far as things are just starting to warm up a bit 🙂 It was actually quite chilly the day when we took their pics, but you wouldn’t know it from the pics! They were sure champs!
I absolutely can’t wait to spend the day with them at The Shores of Turtle Creek this September!
Crystal Lake Illinois Senior Photographer. That’s right! That’s me! I still pinch myself when I see that and associate my name with that title! I am constantly honored and blessed I live this life and have this J_O_B! Seriously! Let me introduce you to Bryanne! She’s a Senior this year at Crystal Lake Central! Home of the Tigers’! I’ve known Bryanne for years along with her family! It gets me a little teary eyed to realize I’ve known Bryanne since she was a little girl! Nows she’s a Senior in highschool! Seriously!? LOL During our session, Bryanne’s mom was with to make sure her gorgeous hair was just right, and to watch her beautiful daughter shine during her session. I loved hearing about the caring heart Bryanne has. One thing in particular is her work with Tiger Buddies! She helps her peers in the Life Skills Progam with their every day activities, even sitting with them at lunch. Wow, just wow! I am so proud of the young woman you have become, Bryanne, and I’m honored to have captured these memories for you! Love Jess
I was so excited to have these adorable identical twin girls in my studio, for their newborn session. I even had my photographer friend, Nicole co shoot the session with me! These sweet girls were 13 days new when they came to see me! I really love to photograph newborns! I get to cuddle and love on them, yet give them back! LOL I can’t wait to see these little girls grow! Newborn photography takes great patience. The froggy pose of them together took about 20 minutes of soothing to get the shot! It was worth it for sure! I hope you enjoy these cuties as much as I did!
I was so excited to meet up with Rebecca and John for their Engagement Session at George Williams College! I have the privilege of photographing their wedding in August! They showed up with 4 bottles of champagne! I knew this was going to be a fun session! We of course opened one right away and they even shared some with me 🙂 It was peach and reminded me of being sneaky when I was just out of High School and drinking some Boones Farms! LOL Not that I am at all condoning that kind of behavior! HAHAH Never! As you can see, Rebecca and John sat on the pier and toasted to each other, and me of course! 😉 Our evening was gorgeous. Rebecca and John love the water, as do I, so we were all 3 in our elements during this session! At the end, we used bottles 2 and 3 for the champagne fight, sadly they didn’t let me have bottle # 4, LOL. I thought it would be my consolation prize for not being in the champagne fight! Our session was filled with laughter and pure fun on a gorgeous evening in Lake Geneva! I seriously can’t wait to photograph their wedding! It’s going to be a blast!
Kristen and Ruben’s Spring Engagement Session was one of my first ones outside for the year! I feel like it really kicked off the season for me being a Crystal Lake Wedding Photographer! We had a GORGEOUS day of almost 80 degrees and plenty of sunshine! I first met Kristen and Ruben in January at a bridal fair, and I was lucky enough to be chosen to photograph their wedding this Fall at Pinecrest Golf Club in Huntley! I was excited for Chloe, their dog to come with to the session! She really was sweet! I’ve learned that Kristen and Ruben first met on Halloween in 2010! She was dressed as Aphrodite and he was dressed as a Man with a poncho, sombrero, and riding a donkey! Now, 6 years later, almost, they will be married! How cool! Kristen and Ruben enjoy being home and watching cooking shows together and root for Da Bears! I can’t wait for 10-1-16!!!!
